Fuzzi Bunz were the original pocket nappies and have gained huge popularity. They were designed by a mother whose son was allergic to urine next to his skin to keep him dry and comfortable.
Fuzzi Bunz nappies have a soft, stretchy, waterproof outer material (PUL) that keeps wetness and mess inside. Next to the baby's skin is a layer of soft micro-fleece which allows moisture to pass through, away from the baby, and then dries quickly. In the pocket formed between these layers an absorbent insert is placed to soak up the wetness. 
The insert inside the Fuzzi Bunz pocket becomes wet, but is not in contact with the baby's skin, helping to keep it dry. pocket nappies are very versatile and the level of absorbency can be easily adjusted to suit baby and the occasion. *Updated design* Fuzzi Bunz have recently been re-designed to improve their look and performance. The newly designed nappies have stretchier elastic around the legs to better hug baby's curves, larger tabs for a better grip and top stitching for added reinforcement of the seams.

Advantages and disadvantages of Fuzzi Bunz over other pocket nappies: lightweight and quick drying. Good adjustability and neat fit. Soft fleece inner that doesn't stain. Multisized, so you will need to purchase several sizes as you baby grows. Comes complete with own microterry insert which will suit light wetters. The insert will last for about 2 hours on average, so to make the nappy last for longer periods or for heavier wetters you will probably need an additional insert or booster (see below for recommendations) .

Small
For new babies (though they may be a little on the big side at first) until up to 6 or 8 months of age depending on the baby's weight and build. Weight range 7 - 18lb (3.2 - 8.2Kg), thigh 5 - 10 inches (12.5 - 25.5 cm) circumference.
Medium
For babies aged from 4 months until 12 months or longer depening on weight and build. Medium Fuzzi Bunz will fit some babies until potty training. Weight range 15 - 30lb (6.8 - 13.6Kg). Medium will fit babies with either small or large thighs (9 - 13 inches, 25.5 - 33cm).
Large
Usually won't fit children until they are 12 months or older or if they are in the weight range or are very tall. They will fit until 3 years or more depending on weight and build. Weight range 30 - 45lb+ (13.6 - 20.5Kg+), thigh 12 - 16 inches (28 - 35.5cm).
